The Overhead Walkway is a solid bridge which is hung from the ceiling by small chains from curved three-point specialised brackets, which are provided with the walk sections. The bridge sections are made from curved plywood with a square rail on each side and they are sealed with polyurethane, either clear or light, medium or dark walnut finish. The rail allows the cats to sleep in comfort without fear of rolling off. There is also a removal carpet runnet sitting between the rails for the cats comfort and for easy cleaning. The sections come in four or five foot lengths and can be used in straight lines or used to turn corners. The Overhead Walks are a special order item. The bridges have the same depth, whether four, five or six feet long. This means that the curve will be less on the longer lengths, but the different lengths can be used together and the underside of each will be at the same level.

The bridges can be suspended from the ceiling by chains or rope that you provide. This will mean that the bridges will move. The preferred method of attachhment are the wooden brackets shown below. These act like a tripod so that the bridge position is fixed, attaches to the bridge by a short chain to act as a cushion to absorb movement that happens when the cats are playing.
